I went back to the hospital Thursday morning so the doctors could evaluate Vincent using a fetal monitoring system and perform a non stress test.
The main goal of the test is to measure the heart beats of the babies in response to their movement. This test can indicate if the babies are not receiving enough oxygen because of placental or umbilical cord problems.
It was a huge relief to hear that the test results were good: his heart is healthy, and that's the most important thing. Even though Vincent is small, he's doing just fine.
I am going in for another appointment on Monday to do the same tests. If everything is still OK, I will not need to have a c-section right away.
Thank you for all the love and support we have received since Tuesday, it really means a lot to us.
