Though it's not as obvious from day to day, our boys are growing and developing fast. Yesterday, it was reported that Vincent reached out and grabbed a toy, and held it for a bit.
And while they're not crawling yet, they are much stronger now. With support, they can stand up on their own legs for 30 seconds or more. Quite an accomplishment.
Most importantly, they've begun sleeping through the night consistently. We've developed a nighttime routine of bathing, feeding, and putting them down between 10:30 and midnight. More than twice this week, they didn't feed again until 7 or 8 am. One day, Adrian slept until 9! They wake up, but then go back to sleep, usually after some comforting, or retrieving the pacifier.
Tomorrow marks their 3 month birthday. We will be traveling to Gainesville, FL via ATL on Delta tomorrow evening. We feel prepared, but we are nervous and anxious as well.
Will we forget something critical? Will we be able to feed them on the plane? Where will we change their diapers? How do we get through the TSA checkpoint with 2 babies? Will they sleep on the plane? Will their eardrums explode? I know we'll get through it, but it's daunting.
Sorry we've been delinquent in posting photos . . . next week for sure. You'll be surprised how big they've gotten.
