We finally posted more photos from this and last month . . . follow the links on the left.
The boys are doing fine. They're now able to pull themselves into a standing position, and it's their new favorite pastime. They're also much more mobile, and can cover the length of the room pretty quick. They are crawling in/out of their room and around the counter into the kitchen. They're also getting confrontational: each wants the toys the other has. They shout and stiff-arm one another when he's encroaching. They're also noisier: they yell, shout, and scream all the time. While definitely cute, it's less enjoyable at 6:30 am.
They're getting bigger . . . Adrian's lean and Vinny's chunky. It's amazing how different they are.
Unfortunately, they still don't make it through the night, eating at least once before 5:30am. At least they'll eventually grow out of that. On the other hand, it's still a struggle to get them to sleep, especially Adrian. He fights and squirms and kicks and arches his back and moans and groans and screams. It's pathetic. Last night, as he laid still in Elisa's arms, moaning, his mouth was working and his brow as contorted as he tried in vain to open his eyes.
In other news, our lease is ending, and our landlord (Dittmar Company) has a policy of not offering any incentives to existing residents upon lease completion. Therefore, we've been apartment-hunting and we're getting ready to make a final decision. We're dreading the move, but in the end, we'll have a nicer place, with more space, and pay less for it . . . . though we'll also live farther away from work, closer to the beltway on South Van Dorn St. So it goes.
